Cantina Jazz 42: Poetry is Jazz

This new and latest edition of Cantina Jazz is a special tribute to the cool that is Poetry Jazz Cafe. Truly a unique spot in the heart of Toronto's Kensington Market district. There is no bar in the 416 like it. I have had the honour of spinning there since it first opened its doors in 2011. It is a place i will always come back to and if you wen there once you would see why. if like a intimate venue with suburb live jazz performed by young cats working on their chops and working it out on a nightly basis while you sip on a cocktail then definitely check Poetry out. PEACE.LOVE.MUSIC.

Cantina Jazz 40

Lordy lordy we made it to 40. So although i have many plans for special themed episodes of Cantina Jazz. For example I will one day make a dub and roots themed mix as well as a Brazil v Argentina mix. This will have to fill you up for now. The following 65 minutes is a musical journey that blends genres that I came up with on the fly. Enjoy.
